James is currently working with MOTH Quantum, exploring the use of quantum computing within Touchdesigner. He is currently developing a number of interactive installations to help in broadening public understanding of Quantum's potential. The projects will be made public throughout 2026
PAST WORKS:
PRESENCE : CONVERGENCE : PERFORMANCE was a installation for London Tech Week with UAL. This peice used hand tracking for up to 4 users to interact with a particle system which generated endless shifting soundscapes. The position and number of the users altered the sounds and progressed the composition. This allowed non-musicians to form instant collaborations with others, and share in a immersive audio performance
James also mentored a number of students in creating works for this event.
In 2021 James began working with The Radiophonic Workshop, creating visuals for their live shows. These were performed at Bluedot Festival, Coventry Cathedral and The Science Museum.
Sadly it was decided in 2024 that touring was no longer possible for the band members, however there are plans to make the material publicly available in the future.
James in a longtime collaborator with promoter Memory Box, providing VJ sets and promo materials for club nights across London and Brighton. He has created promo for artists including:
Daniel Avery, James Lavelle, DMX Krew, DJ Stringray 313, Paranoid London, Orlando Voorn, Robin Ball
In 2025 James collaborated with VEDRA for their debut live show. He created a bespoke real-time audio-reactive VJ system for their launch party at Bread & Butter Lounge, Shoreditch.
